Breakfast with Santa

Every year we head over to our favorite breakfast place to have breakfast with Santa. Since Andrew's first Christmas where I got a fantastic shot of him sitting with the big guy I have attempted to get another photo that would be worthy of the Christmas card and have generally failed. I incorrectly assumed that this year the difficult child would be Dylan since I figured 8 months old was just old enough to be very suspicious of Santa and not old enough to understand the upside to telling him what you want for Christmas. Turns out... Dylan has no issues at all with the bearded stranger in the red suit and was happy to sit with him  but his older brother wanted NOTHING to do with him. I managed to get him to sit there but there was NO smiling. He did tell him what he wanted for Christmas but only from a safe distance once he had gotten down.

So as I've said before... Maybe next year ;-)
