Andrew had another VERY busy trip to Massachusetts to celebrate Christmas. I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I have on past holidays... much more chasing and less photographing now that the little man is running around the house. Unfortunately the snow storm cut his visit short as we headed back to NJ on Sunday morning to avoid getting snowed in. Andrew got about 7 inches of snow at his house but the freezing cold wind kept him from going outside to enjoy it.
Here are some shots of Andrew's Christmas adventure. In the next week or so he will be working on his thank you notes but he would like to thank EVERYONE for their very generous gifts and for making his holiday such a special one.
I forgot to take pictures and Uncle Rick and Aunt Loretta's but here are a few from Uncle Dan and Aunt Lina's house. Much like most 1 year olds Andrew prefers the boxes and wrapping paper to the actual gifts.
This was a short rest during one of the 100 trips that Andrew took up the stairs. Now that he can walk there is no stopping him!
On Christmas morning Andrew got up and opened his stocking while he ate his breakfast.
Then he moved on to the big presents.
After Andrew got dressed and went for a visit at the Cail's he came back to spend the afternoon playing with all his new toys and his Aunts and Uncle.
Apparently if you get a sandbox for Christmas you don't have to wait until spring to play with it.. you just fill it with blocks! In case you are wondering what the heck Andrew is wearing that is Uncle Matt's scarf ;-)
Since Monday was too cold and windy to play outside in the snow Andrew spent the day relaxing and playing with all his new toys.
We hope everyone else had a very merry Christmas and has a happy new year!
I'm loving Andrew's pic on the stairs..
ReplyDeleteI wish we had carpeted stairs :(
