It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

This weekend we spent a lot of time getting ready for the holidays.  On Saturday Andrew got all bundled up and headed out to pick out a Christmas tree.  I'd like to think he was having more fun than he appears to be having in these pictures but I can't guarantee it.

Does he remind anyone else of Kenny on South Park?

We decided to wait until Sunday to decorate since we hadn't pulled out all of the boxes from the basement just yet but Andrew started getting into the Christmas spirit Saturday night in his new Christmas jammies that Auntie Meg and Uncle Matt sent.

Sunday we finally pulled all the Christmas boxes out of the basement and started getting the house all decorated for the holidays.

Max is apparently more of a supervisor than a decorator.

Andrew hasn't quite figured out what is going on or why there is a tree in the middle of the living room but he helped hang some ornaments and then stood back to admire the finished product.  Now the challenge will be to keep him from pulling all of the ornaments off the bottom branches and playing with the lights.  I wouldn't be surprised if in a week or so my tree is only decorated on the top 2/3 of the tree!

By the time the weekend was over the Christmas tree was decorated, all the other holiday decorations had been put out around the house, Christmas cards had been ordered and the holiday season had officially begun!
