Christmas Pictures

We got back the third (and FINAL) set of school pictures for the 2012 school year. We now have the summer ones from July, the 'back to school' set from September and the new Christmas ones. These are definitely my least favorite of the bunch. Dylan's summer ones and Andrew's back to school ones are the best of the year by far but these were cute so I figured I would share. These were the outfits that I had intended for our christmas cards however by the time I got pictures that I liked it was the 4th or 5th photo shoot and I had given up on changing them first :-)

9 Months Old

Time just keeps FLYING by.  Dylan continues to be one happy  little guy.  Despite the wardrobe changes these pictures are all from today.. it was a three sweatshirt kind of day ;-)

Breakfast with Santa

Every year we head over to our favorite breakfast place to have breakfast with Santa. Since Andrew's first Christmas where I got a fantastic shot of him sitting with the big guy I have attempted to get another photo that would be worthy of the Christmas card and have generally failed. I incorrectly assumed that this year the difficult child would be Dylan since I figured 8 months old was just old enough to be very suspicious of Santa and not old enough to understand the upside to telling him what you want for Christmas. Turns out... Dylan has no issues at all with the bearded stranger in the red suit and was happy to sit with him  but his older brother wanted NOTHING to do with him. I managed to get him to sit there but there was NO smiling. He did tell him what he wanted for Christmas but only from a safe distance once he had gotten down.

So as I've said before... Maybe next year ;-)

Christmas Tree Shopping

Last night after work we headed out to get our Christmas tree so that it would be all ready to decorate over the weekend. Since it was dark and FREEZING it was a pretty fast trip but now it is starting to look like Christmas in the Carleton house :-)

Thanksgiving 2012

I'm a little behind on my updates but here are some pictures from Thanksgiving. As always it was a very busy trip but we had a nice visit and got to see lots of family.  Admittedly I didn't take many pictures at all but here are a few. I will have to do a better job at Christmas when everyone is together again. Unfortunately a lot of the pictures I took are kind of fuzzy so not really good enough to post.

8 Months Old!

I should probably give up on trying to take pictures before the boys leave for school in the morning. Here are a few of Dylan who is officially 8 months old today... then a couple of the boys and of Andrew because Andrew insisted on taking pictures WITH his brother and then one LIKE his brother.. not to be left out.

Saturday was a nice fall day so we headed off to the zoo. Andrew's friends Ethan and Brandon met us there and the 3 of them had a blast running around and checking out all the animals.
