Cooking with Daddy
Saturday night Andrew helped Daddy start getting ready for the super bowl party. He helped add the ingredients to the spaghetti sauce and then made sure to stir them in. He must have done a good job because the sauce was delicious. He's probably already a better cook than Mommy ;-)

Go Patriots!
This time of year photography studios are full of people having pictures of their kids taken all dressed in red with hearts, cupid wings and blocks that spell out L O V E. Not us... we have SUPER BOWL pictures taken. Despite taking a lot of grief from all the Giants fans (expected when having your pictures taken in Rockaway, NJ) Andrew kept on smiling and cheering on his Patriots. This jersey has been worn so often this season that some of the letters are starting to wear off.

Sick Day
Andrew was home sick today and tried to keep himself busy while mommy was working by tearing his room apart and playing with all his stuffed animals in his new tent.
After tearing the house apart it was time to grill up a snack :-)

January Zoo Trip
What do you do on a beautiful 60 degree day in New Jersey in January? You go to the zoo! At least that is what Andrew decided he wanted to do and it was the perfect way to spend the day. Although quite a few people had the same idea we did the crowds were small, the weather was amazing and plenty of animals were outside to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather. Andrew has made a few trips to both the Bronx zoo and the national zoo in DC and has always had a great time but this was the first trip where he was running around and checking things out for himself. We had a great day and can't wait to go back this spring.

New Years on Sesame Street
We couldn't let a 55 degree New Year's Eve be wasted inside so we decided to head down to Sesame Place for their count down to New Years. Unlike our first visit over the summer Andrew was all about the characters this time around and had his picture taken with quite a few of them. He got to go on rides and finish out the day with the parade and his first fireworks.
Meeting Zoey
and Abby...
and Elmo...
and Murray (still not sure who Murray is)
riding the tea cups
the count is still one of Andrew's favorites
this was the first time we have run into Grover
We also saw Ernie and Bert but unfortunately the camera died and the pictures are all blurry.
After a very long fun filled day!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We hope everyone has a great 2012.
