Spring Sunday... Winter Monday

Andrew had a great weekend. We finally got to go outside and explore the yard, hang out with the kids next door, go for walks and lots of other spring fun!

Then we woke up to a VERY wintry Monday morning!! Hopefully by the weekend the nice spring weather will be back.

New Picnic Table

Andrew finally spent his last birthday gift card today during a trip to Toys R Us. He decided to get a picnic table for the deck so he can sit outside when it gets nice and eat his lunch. For now it is being used for snacks and puzzles in the living room. Next project is teaching Andrew that the hole in the table (meant for a small umbrella) is not actually there so you can drop cereal or goldfish through the hole to the dog waiting anxiously below.

Just a few pictures of Andrew enjoying his visit with his Grandfather and making the best of all this snow.  About 24 hours after this picture was taken we had almost a foot of brand new snow!

Tried to get a few more pictures tonight without too much luck. One thing about Andrew is that NOTHING interferes with playing and between bath and bed is play time so he had zero interest in having his picture taken.

At some point I suppose these monthly photo shoots will come to an end. I certainly don't expect my 120 month 10  year old to put up with this but for now they continue :-) I have learned that generally it doesn't work to do them in the morning, too much going on and too much rushing around. Today however I had some extra time since Andrew got up at 5:30 and he had on nice clothes which may not make it home from day care depending on what sort of activities they have on the agenda for today. I may try this again later tonight but here are a few from this morning.

Dinner At Chili's

After some outlet shopping we stopped for dinner at Chili's. Andrew LOVES to eat out. It doesn't seem possible but now he is coloring with the crayons and ordering off the kids menu! We also learned when coloring gets boring you can get pooh videos on You Tube and buy yourself enough time to finish eating ;-)
