The State Fair

This weekend Andrew headed to the state fair with his grandparents. He had a great time... although might have been more fun if Mommy wasn't hobbling around on crutches! I left the camera at home.. very unlike me but here are a few shots I took with my phone.

22 Months Old

Since August 1st did NOT go as planned we missed our monthly photo shoot. Here are a few shots of Andrew from his first trip to Yankee stadium on Sunday. I haven't downloaded them all yet but wanted to get a few out for his 22 month post :-) I can't believe in 2 months he will be having another birthday!

One drawback to Andrew being at Yankee stadium.. he claps when everyone else claps giving the illusion he is cheering for the Yankees. Clearly that was not the case ;-)

Clearly Andrew takes after his mother... here is the latest attempt at school pictures. Better than the Christmas pictures but I KNOW this kid smiles better than that! Better luck next time!

First Movie!

After about 5 days over 100 degrees we were running out of ways to keep cool AND entertained so we decided to take Andrew to see his first movie. We went to see Winnie the Pooh and he LOVED it. He sat through the entire thing enjoying his snacks and LOVING the movie. This was snapped during the previews but he was just as fixated for the full show.

Andrew's Vacation

Andrew and I were on vacation this week and kept VERY busy.  I actually took about a million pictures but here is a sample of our week off.

Our first stop was to meet Maddie Unger... Andrew was MUCH more interested in Maddie's dog Sammy however than he was in the baby.

Day 2 started with breakfast with the Malones and then a trip to the playground where Mommy and Betsy used to play a VERY long time ago. Of course it looks nothing like it did back then.

Andrew spent a lot of time in the pool while he was in Reading. He is a big fan of swimming.

Considering helping Grandpa with some gardening....

Only slightly less fun than a swimming pool is a plain old garden hose!

Once back in NJ we met up with Julian and his mom to check out a new playground.

Andrew and I shared his first soft serve ice cream cone. He liked it so much he had another on Sunday ;-)

On Friday we headed to Alstede Farms to feed the animals.

On Sunday.. our LAST day of vacation we headed back to the Lakota wolf preserve to see the wolves with Ethan and Brandon.

4th of July Weekend

Andrew had a very busy 4th of July weekend. Saturday we had a busy day around the house and yard and then Andrew and I went out for dinner while his Dad was working. On Sunday we got a lot more rain than we expected so we had to resort to entertaining ourselves indoors and I think Andrew managed to play with ever single toy in the house. On Monday we had some friends over to celebrate the 4th and luckily the weather cooperated. Andrew and his friends Ethan and Brandon got to use the pool and play on the swing set. It's always a bummer when really fun weekends come to an end but only 4 work/school days and then VACATION!
